The tower body of the upper slewing tower crane does not rotate, and the rotating part is installed on the upper part. It is currently the most commonly used tower crane on construction sites. The characteristics of the upper slewing tower crane are: the bottom contour size is small, and the space requirement for the building site is small, which does not affect the use of the building material storage yard; Due to the tower body not rotating, the moment of inertia during rotation is small, the lifting capacity is relatively large, and the lifting height is relatively high, making it easy to modify into an attached tower crane, which can be suitable for the construction needs of various forms of buildings
Lower slewing tower crane: The tower structure is relatively lightweight, with a slewing mechanism installed at the lower part. The tower can rotate and is generally transported as a whole or self erected, making it easy to disassemble and quickly transition. But the scale of the bottom turntable and balance arm is relatively large, and it is necessary to ensure a safety distance of at least 600mm between the tower crane and the building
